Welcome to the Stockport Beards Club (SBC). We are a local chapter member of The British Beard Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Us<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Stockport Beards Club was originally set up in 2018, but our first meetings didn’t happen until early 2019. A full history of our Thatch can be found on the SBC History<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our monthly visits contain a few regulars and a few semi-regulars. It all depends on holidays (personal and public) and what else is going on in Stockport on that last Sunday of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2026, one of our members worked on Suno to create our very own theme tune<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re working on our Members page and it will appear under the Homepage menu when it’s complete. – the one that’s currently there is just a test page. as people join and leave, or join and then never show up ever again. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join Us?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

If you’re interested in joining us, you must first become a member of the British Beards Club<\/a>. Once you’ve paid your dues – it’s only \u00a310 per year – then all you need to do is contact our admin team via this email link<\/a>. We like to put some extra money towards the TBBC at each of our monthly meets, plus we have the occasional bit of swag that also goes towards the donations we give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t forget to print out your British Beard Club membership certificate and put it in a frame on the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bearded Events Worldwide<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(Note:<\/strong> it uses the American date format.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in 2022, a few of the SBC members visited the British Beard and Moustache Championships<\/strong> in Rugby, UK<\/strong>. Unfortunately, the 2024 event was in Plymouth, which was a bit of a trek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big UK Event for 2026<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The British Beard and Moustache Championships<\/strong> will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026<\/strong>, at The Park Hotel in Kilmarnock, Scotland. It’s a bit of a trek for our members, but we’re working out the details to see how many of us can make the journey so far oop North!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
