Welcome to the Stockport Beards Club (SBC). We are a local chapter member of The British Beard Club.
About Us
Stockport Beards Club was originally set up in 2018, but our first meetings didn’t happen until early 2019. A full history of our Thatch can be found on the SBC History page.
Our montly visits contain a few regulars and a few semi-regulars. It all depends on holidays (personal and public) and what else is going on in Stockport on that last weekend of the month.
We’re working on our Members page and it will appear under the Homepage menu when it’s complete. – the one that’s currently there is just a test page.
Join Us?
If you’re interested in joining us, you must first become a member of the British Beards Club. Once you’ve paid your dues, it’s only £10 per year, then all you need to do is contact our admin team via this email link.
Don’t forget to print out your British Beard Club membership certificate and put it in a frame on the wall.
Bearded Events Worldwide

Back in 2022, a few of the SBC members visited the UK British Beard & Moustache Championships when it was held in Rugby. Unfortunately, the event this year is in Plymouth, which is a bit of a trek. Maybe the Blackpool one in 2026 will be our next group visit.
