Welcome to the Stockport Beards Club (SBC). We are a local chapter member of The British Beard Club.
About Us
Stockport Beards Club was originally set up in 2018, but our first meetings didn’t happen until early 2019. A full history of our Thatch can be found on the SBC History page.
Our monthly visits contain a few regulars and a few semi-regulars. It all depends on holidays (personal and public) and what else is going on in Stockport on that last Sunday of the month.
We’re working on our Members page and it will appear under the Homepage menu when it’s complete. – the one that’s currently there is just a test page.
Join Us?
If you’re interested in joining us, you must first become a member of the British Beards Club. Once you’ve paid your dues – it’s only £10 per year – then all you need to do is contact our admin team via this email link. We like to put some extra money towards the TBBC at each of our monthly meets, plus we have the occasional bit of swag that also goes towards the donations we give.
Don’t forget to print out your British Beard Club membership certificate and put it in a frame on the wall.

Back in 2022, a few of the SBC members visited the UK British Beard & Moustache Championships when it was held in Rugby. Unfortunately, the event this year is in Plymouth, which is a bit of a trek. A lot of us are hoping to attend the Blackpool championships in 2026 – see you there!
